DETECTIVES are investigating a ram raid on a shop in Derry yesterday morning.
Police say that officers received a report around 4 am a white coloured car was used to force entry to the rear of the premises on the Creggan Road.
A number of hooded males then entered the shop and stole a large quantity of cigarettes.
Detectives are appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident or anyone with any information that can assist their inquiries to contact officers in Strand Road on 101 quoting reference number 247 of 22/10/16.
