SINN Féin Councillor Patricia Logue has contacted Transport NI following concerns that street lights are out at one of Derry’s most popular walkways along the riverfront adjacent to the marina and the council offices.
Councillor Logue said “I was contacted by a number of people who would walk and run this pathway on a regular basis.
“They were concerned that a number of lights were out along a stretch of the walkway.
“This is a very busy area throughout the day and night and with the onset of autumn it’s important that people are safe and feel safe in this area of the city.
“I have contacted Transport NI and asked them to rectify the situation as soon as possible.”
