POLICE are investigating an arson attack on a house in Derry.
The probe was launched after fire crews from Northland station were tasked to the scene yesterday afternoon around 4.15 pm.
A Fire and Rescue Services spokesperson said: “Crews responded to a fire at an end-terraced house at Elmwood Road in the Bogside area of Derry.
“Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used a hosereel jet to extinguish the fire.
“Crews ventilated the smoke from the premises.
“The cause of the fire appeared deliberate. ”
