POLICE have still been unable to reunite an elderly dog with its owner.
The black doge was found in Derry by police on patrol in the city last night.
A post on PSNI Foyle Facebook page said this evening: “Thank you to everyone who shared the pics of the dog found on Strand Road last night

“We have been unable to locate her owner. She is currently being looked after at the Dog Kennels at Pennyburn Industrial Estate.
“She has been checked over and in good health but she has no microchip.
“She is an elderly dog so it is possible she may have an elderly owner who may not have access to social media.
“If you know anyone like this could you check with them.
“If you have any info regarding the owner you can contact Police on 101 quoting reference number CCS 1720 31/10/16 or contact the Dog Kennels directly.
