SINN Féin councillor Colly Kelly has welcomed news by of and £400,000 investment on its Wi-Fi services.
Train carriages are also currently being fitted with additional SIM cards and bandwidth is being improved.
Councillor Kelly said: “I welcome the news that Translink are making a significant investment in its Wi-Fi service on the Goldline buses, the Dublin-Belfast Enterprise and the entire North’s Railways fleet.
“The 212 Goldliner between Derry and Belfast is a key transport service with thousands of people using it on a weekly basis.
“This upgrade will help the speed of access and reliability of the “Wi-Fi service and allow passengers to be able to download more data and connections are lasting longer.
“It’s important that investment like this takes place as we are always trying to encourage more people to use public transport.
“And knowing that they can carry out their work, study or just having internet access during their journey is a big bonus,” he added.
