POLICE say a woman is safe after officers came to her aid in Co Derry this morning when a wheel sheered off her car.
PSNI Magherafelt say: “Officers from C Section assisted with a distressed female today on the Hillhead Road.
“A wheel had sheared off while she was driving.
“We stopped and spoke with her and arranged for her vehicle to be recovered.
“We retrieved her wheel from the hedge and she’s now safe, well and settled at home.”
