SINN Féin Councillor Christopher Jackson has praised the hard work and dedication of the ambulance service.
The Waterside councillor said: “The staff and emergency medical teams of the Ambulance Service play a vital role in our society while working in very challenging circumstances.
“Every day their hard work, dedication and professionalism literally saves lives.
“My party colleague and Health Minister Michelle O’Neill is currently engaged in the most radical shake up of the health service for decades and is engaging with all health care workers to do that.
“Ambulance Service staff, and all those delivering health and social care, have a vital role to play, in partnership with the Minister in the transformation of our health service,” he added.
