Singer and musician Stephen ‘Stevie’ Martin
BRILLIANT Lifford musician Stevie Martin, aka Rainy Boy Sleep was taken from us all too soon this year.
Stevie, a rare talent and decent human being who was from Lifford but was living in Derry, left this world in August leading to a huge outpouring of grief from his family, many friends and fans.
And to compound the family grief, thieves broke into his home and stole some of his musical instruments.
Hot Press magazine has released this stunning version of Fairytale of New York which Stevie recorded in their offices.
Play it and play it again and remember with love all those who left us this year.
