THE Western Trust has launched the Recovery College Spring 2017 prospectus offering a range of free educational courses and workshops designed to promote mental health well-being and recovery.
The courses which are written and delivered by people with lived experience of mental health issues alongside those with professional experience and knowledge, aim to help individuals recognise and develop their own personal resourcefulness and resilience, become experts in their own self-care and work towards achieving their goals and ambitions.
Workshops offered this term include: Living beyond Depression and Low Mood; Living Well with Bipolar; Caring for Someone with Psychosis; Spirituality and Mental Well-being; Understanding Medication; Understanding Obsessive Compulsive Disorder; Creative Recovery and Wellness Recovery Action Plan.
Courses are open to all – those who use services, staff, carers and members of the general public and are free of charge.
Registration for the courses is essential. Anyone who would like to register or find out more information is welcome to come along to one of the following enrolment sessions;
