SOME people just don’t heed the warnings from police to stop their involvement in dangerous anti-social behaviour.
Just two hours after police put out a warning about incidents of ‘muckbombing’, officers made an arrest.
PSNI Foyle said that a “low and behold a group of young people decided to try to throw things at passing cars on Madams Bank Road”.
It added: “Ballyarnett Neighbourhood Team LPT gave chase and we ended up taking a 14 year old home to his very displeased mother.
“Hopefully a lesson learned.”
So the police advice to parent is to know where your children are and what they are up to at all times.
Children may think throwing items at cars is fun but it has the potential to distract a driver and could cause an accident.
