POLICE are jubilant after officer disrupted two drug dealers in Derry.
The PSNI say Local Policing Team officers from Strand Road stopped and searched a male and female in the city centre area yesterday.
“They carried out a search and found an estimated £6,000 of suspected controlled drugs
“The drugs were seized and both suspects were arrested on the spot for Possession of suspected Controlled Drugs and Possession with Intent To Supply Controlled Drugs and Criminal Damage.’
The pair were taken to Strand Road police station to be questioned under the 1971 Misuse of Drugs Act.
PSNI Foyle said on its Facebook page: “- We 😍 a good drugs find – Very happy police versus very sad drug dealers.
“The best place to hit these people is in their pockets 💸💰💰💷💶by seizing drugs and destroying them.
