DERRY City have say striker Ronan Curtis has signed a contract extension ahead of the start of the SSE Airtricity League Premier Divsion this week.
The 20-year-old has will remain a Candystripe until at least the end of the 2018 season.
Boss Kenny Shiels is delighted to have got Curtis tied down for another few years.
“We should not overlook the importance of Ronan’s signing and how significant this is for both Ronan and the club,” stated Shiels.
“Ronan has developed to the level where he is ready to play thirty games a season.
“He is dovetailing into our way of play and his primed and ready for a really good season, with the security of another with Derry City.”
Derry City kick of the 2017 SSE Airtricity Premier League this Friday when they travel to Dublin to play Bohemians.
Kick off is 7.45 pm.
