PSNI WARNING: WATCH OUT, BURGLARS ABOUT IN LONGER EVENINGS

THE PSNI in Foyle is warning householders to protect their properties now that the clocks have forward by an hour.

A police spokesperson said: “The clocks have changed, so take the time to check that your home, garage and shed are secure.

“Check doors and windows are locked. Lock up after outside jobs are done.

“The longer evenings provide opportunities for burglars.”
