THE remains found in the River Foyle yesterday by boatmen conducting a search have been confirmed as that of missing Jack Glenn.
It is a huge relief to his family, wider family circle, friends and the community right across Derry that Jack has retrieved from the waters and is now back with his heartbroken family.
His funeral service will take place this weekend which is expected to be attended by Foyle Search and Rescue volunteers and scores of others who search on either water or land for seven and a half weeks for Jack.
His body was recovered from the icy waters on Monday afternoon – just 24 hours after Mother’s Day.
In a message on Facebook, his devastated dad Colin said: “At last I can confirm we got Jack back 😭😭
