Ryan was laid to rest last Thursday following 10 am Requiem Mass at Long Tower Chapel.
Thousands of people came out to pay their respects to the Derry City captain who was found at his home in Bluebell Hill Gardens near the Brandywell Stadium his shocked father.
The world of football was rocked by Ryan’s death with many, many players from home and across channel pay their respects to him and offering their condolences to his family.
Last Saturday’s BBC1 Football Focus magazine programme also paid its respects to Ryan which featured former Man Utd and Newcastle striker Andy Cole and legendary Celtic frontman John Hartson.
