THIS is the haul of drugs seized by police last night during a drugs bust in Derry.
Detectives from the PSNI’s Reactive and Organised Crime branch assisted by Derry’s District Support Team arrested a 27 year old man under the 1971 Misuse of Drugs Act.
It follows a planned search at a house in Derry after a haul of cannabis, cocaine and cash was seized.
The man was arrested on suspicion of a number of offences including possession of cocaine; simple possession and possession with intent to supply herbal cannabis with a street value of £20,000; and possession of criminal property.
He was also arrested on suspicion of possessing criminal property in respect of a quantity of cash and £280,000 worth of herbal cannabis, which was seized in Derry on last September 22, 2016.
The suspect remains in custody at Strand Road police station for questioning.
