FIRE crews were called out last night to to deal with a large tyre blaze in Derry.
The blaze erupted in the Springtown area.
It is believed around 30 tyres were destroyed in the fire which sent thick black smoke across the city.
Police and the Fire and Rescue Service are to carry out further examinations to see if the blaze was deliberate or not.
