REPUBLICAN graffiti has been smeared across the wall of an Orange hall in Co Derry.
Police are investigating the incident which was described by the Orange Order as “intolerant sectarianism”.
The attack is believed to have taken place at the hall in Claudy’s Main Street late on Friday evening.
It was the sixth reported attack on Orange property this year.
An Order spokesman said the incident should be universally condemned.
“This is sadly yet another example of the intolerant sectarianism displayed by a minority who continue to manifest their hatred towards the Orange Institution by attacking our properties on a regular basis,” he said.
“The mindless idiots responsible offer nothing through such criminality, only heartache and division.”
