HUNDREDS of people are expected to pay their respects today at the funeral of teenage Dean Millar.
Volunteers and those from the search teams who helped to look for Dean are also expected to pay their respect to the Creggan land who went missing last month.
Dean’s remains have been reposing at his family’s Broadway home since they were returned on Saturday night.
Requiem Mass will be held at 10 am in St Mary’s, Creggan.
Dean will be laid to rest following Requiem Mass at the City Cemetery.
In a message on its Facebook Page, Help Get Dean Home said: “Thanks everyone who ‘helped get dean home’.”
Dean was last seen in the Brandywell area six weeks ago.
He had been out with friends and left saying he was going home.
But tragically Dean never made it home.
He is thought to have entered the water close to Craigavon bridge on Sunday, March 12.
