PSNI Foyle are warning motorists to stop parking outside schools or face a parking ticket and a fine.
The police say Waterside Neighbourhood Policing Team have the issued the warning following complaints.
A spokesperson said: “We have received some complaints about parking around schools.
“Road markings are there to protect everyone and footpaths are there for the safety of everyone!!
“Please park with consideration outside Ebrington Primary School and on the Nelson Drive/Broomhill Avenue in particular.
“If not…expect a present on your windscreen.
“Consider this as your initial warning.”
