POLICE in Derry have charged a man to court following a seizure of 500 Ecstasy tablets earlier this year.
The 24 year old man is to appear at Derry Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, June 6, for a first remand hearing.
He will face a number of drugs offences following a police operation in January this year.
The charges include importing a Class A drug, attempted possession of a Class A drug, attempted possession of a Class A drug with intent to supply.
He is also charged with being concerned in the supply of a Class A drug, the sale/supply and offer to supply medicine and selling medicines without a licence.
The suspect was arrested in January by Ballyarnett Neighbourhood Team who arrested the 24-year-old on suspicion of importing drugs.
