IT has been a wonderful past few days as the heatwave continues, with temperatures hitting 25 degrees Centigrade.
And families across the North West and beyond have taken advantage of the sun, heading to the beach to soak up the rays and cool down in the waters.
Friday is expected to be another warm and sunny day.
But forecasters are saying to make the most of it.
Come Saturday a heavy blanket of rain will sweep in from the Atlantic, bringing heavy showers, with the possibility of thundery outbursts in part.
