TYRONE swept to a 0-22 to 0-11 victory over Derry at Celtic Park this afternoon (throw in 2 pm).
The win sets up an Ulster SFC semi-final clash with Donegal.
Sean Cavanagh converted five frees as Tyrone established control over Derry who had hoped of avenging last year’s defeat.
But it wasn’t to be for Damian Barton’s men.
Niall Loughlin scored three times for the Oak Leafs, but they trailed by 0-10 to 0-5 at the break.
Following a brief Derry revival, the Red Hands regained controlled of the gam.
Substitutes Darren McCurry, David Mulgrew, Lee Brenan and Declan McClure all adding scores, while Cavanagh finished with a seven points haul.
