THE PSNI in Derry are on the trail of a thief who stole this little pup which was a present to its young owners.
The owners are “distraught” and the public is asked to keep an eye out for Pixie in the Shantallow area.
Police said on its Foyle Facebook page: “Normally we deal with lots of reports of theft. This one unfortunately brings a tear to my eye

🐶 at approx 4 pm yesterday!!!
“Pixie is a light brown colour and was wearing a red coloured collar that has a bone on it. She is aged 4 1/2 months and is chihuahua breed.
“Her owners are distraught.
“Well they are only wee nippers themselves and was gotten as a birthday present

“We all want her home safe!”
