MOTHER and daughter Margaret McGonigle (69) and Mairead Mundy (39) and their close friend Racheal Cassidy Battles (37), who were tragically killed in a car crash last week, are to be laid to rest on Monday.
They had been traveling home from Dublin airport following a dream holiday in Turkey when they were involved in a three-car road traffic collision in Louth at 1 am.
Two other men were seriously injured in the crash and were rushed to Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Drogheda.
Margaret McGonigle and Mairead Mundy have been reposing at Mrs Mundy’s residence in Ballyloughan, Bruckless.
The removal takes place on this morning, going to the Church of Saint Joseph and Saint Conal in Bruckless for funeral mass at 11 am, with the burial taking place in the adjoining cemetery.
Racheal Cassidy Battles has been reposing at her late residence in Ballyloughan, Bruckless.
The removal takes place later today to the Church of Saint Joseph and Saint Conal in Bruckless for 2.30 pm Requeim Mass.
