JOSH Daniels has left Derry City to join Irish League side Glenavon.
The player posted his best wishes to his former teammates on social media this morning.
Daniels has spent five years at City.
He said it was a “massive decision” for him to leave but it was time to move on and experience something else while he is also excited at what lies ahead.
In March 2016, his mum and sister were killed in the Buncrana pier tragedy when an Audi Q7 car slid into the Co Donegal waters.
A total of five people died but his little niece was miraculously saved by hero Davitt Walsh.
