Foyle Search and Rescue out on the River Foyle
THE PSNI say that the family of the person believed to have entered the River Foyle yesterday evening are grateful for the support they are getting from the wider community.
A police spokesperson added: “They have asked that all search efforts are co-ordinated through Foyle Search & Rescue who are working with police.”
The emergency services swung into action yesterday evening after reports a man had entered the water.
Searches were conducted throughout last night and these searches continued today by boats from the FSR.
