BUS services were withdrawn from the Ballymagroarty and Hazelbank areas of Derry yesterday after buses came under attack, according to a local Sinn Fein politician.
Councillor Eric McGinley said that buses had to be withdrawn after windows were smashed in the Ringfort Road area of the city.
He added: “Parents need to know what their children are getting up to.”
On its Facebook page, Ballymagroarty Community Empowerment said yesterday’s attack were not isolated incidents.
It said: “This has been on going the last few weeks in the area. We have been contacted four times this month about it.”
