DERRY minors are into the All-Ireland Electric Ireland final.
They pulled off a fantastic performance this afternoon at Croke Park (throw in 2 pm) to beat Dublin by three points in their own back yard.
The final score was 0-17 to 0-14 for Damian McErlain’s bravehearts.
Dublin will rue those missed chances, at least a dozen wides throughout the game, including one in the final minutes of of the game which had seven added minutes at the end of the second half.
And no one deserved the TG4 Man of the Match award than Lorcan McWilliams whose sharp shooting boots gave Derry the vital points throughout the game.
So well done to the Oak Leafers in reaching the final.
Doire Abu!
