DERRY man Eamon Bradley is to stand trial accused of terrorist offences in Syria.
The 28-year-old, who is from the Creggan estate, is accused of attending a terrorist training camp in Syria in 2014.
He is also facing a number of weapons and explosives charges.
Bradley denies the charges.
A jury of six women and six men has been sworn-in to hear the trial at Omagh Crown Court.
Presiding Judge Brian Sherrard told the jury of 12 that he trial could take up to three weeks to conclude before they would retire to consider their verdicts.
Prosecution lawyers are due to open the case against the defendant tomorrow morning, Wednesday, August 30.
