HALF TIME IN ALL IRELAND MINOR FINAL: IT’S KERRY GOLD AS KINGDOM RATTLE THREE GOALS PAST DERRY

DERRY minors have been given a harsh lesson in football by Kerry who lead the Oak Leafters by 3-08 to 0-05 at half time in Croke Park (throw-in !.15 pm).

The Kingdom raced into an early 1-01 to 0-01 lead with a David Clifford goal on six minutes.

Seven minutes later Clifford added his second goal of the game.

And by 21 minutes, Kerry had scored three goals – Clifford turning provider for Fiachra Clifford.

It will be an interesting team talk talk at half time for the Derry minors.

They well rue the opportunity to double mark David Clifford to stop him from scoring so freely.

If they can’ t turn around the 12 point deficit, Kerry will be on their way for to their fourth successive minor final title.
