POLICE have arrested and charged A man with a number of counts of burglary and driving offences, including dangerous driving and failing to stop for police.
The 35-year-old s due to appear at Derry Magistrates’ Court tomorrow, Monday, September.25. for as first remand hearding.
As is normal procedure, all charges will be reviewed by the PPS.
It is understood police had been hunting the suspect for the past four months.
The charges follow a burglary at licensed premises in the Queen’s Quay area of Derry in the early hours of 8 September; a burglary at retail premises in the Foyle Street area of the city on 17 July; and a road traffic collision in the Crawford Square area on May.27.
