Ireland manager Martin O’Neill
THE Republic of Ireland have been drawn against Denmark in the play offs for the World Cup finals in Russia next summer.
The draw was made at 1 pm at FIFA’s headquarters in Zurich.
The Republic will travel to Denmark for the first leg..
Northern Ireland will play.SWITZERLAND at home in the first leg at Windsor Park
Both games are played over two legs.
Derry’s James McClean was the hero earlier this month when he scored the winning goal to sink Wales at Cardiff.
In the other games Croatia host Greece while Sweden take on Italy at home in the first leg.
