DERRY and Strabane Council are calling on groups in the city and district to apply to their ‘Cultural Grant Aid programmes’ including festivals, heritage animation, cultural venues and access support.
The opening date for the Council’s ‘Cultural Grant Aid’ programmes is 10am on Monday 30 October – closing at 12 noon both on Friday 24 November and 8 December – depending upon which fund or programme is applied for.
Derry and Strabane Council are also hosting a number of Grant Aid information workshops:
Thursday 2 November, 10am & 7pm in the Foyle Arena
Friday 3 November, 10am & 3pm in the Guildhall
Monday 6 November, 10am & 7pm in Strabane Community Library
The aim of the workshops is to provide groups with an overview of the Grant Aid programmes – and an opportunity to gain further advice on specific applications, ideas and queries.
Groups are being encouraged to apply for ‘Grant Aid’ from the Cultural Venues Fund 2018/2019, Headline Events (formerly Tier 2 Festivals) Fund 2018/2019, Community Festivals Fund 2018/2019, Access Programme for Cultural Venues 2017/2018, and the Heritage Animation and Visitor Servicing Programme 2017/2018 & 2018/2019.
This is a competitive scheme and applications will be determined on the basis of merit.
