DETECTIVES from the PSNI’s Serious Crime Branch, investigating an under-vehicle improvised explosive device that was placed under the car of a serving police officer in Eglinton on 18 June 2015, have arrested four people.
The arrests were made in Derry, Pomeroy and Belfast today.
Detective Chief Inspector John Caldwell said: “Three men, aged 29, 38 and 46 and a 32 year old woman have been taken to Musgrave PSNI where they are assisting us with our enquiries.”
One man, Sean McVeigh, is currently awaiting trial next year charged over the murder bid.
