POLICE in Derry arrested three men as part of a proactive operation against drug dealing in the city.
The men – aged 35, 38 & 50 – were detained under the 1971 Misuse of Drugs Act on suspicion of possession of controlled drugs and being concerned in the supply of controlled drugs.
The arrests took place in the early hours of this morning, Wednesday, November 8.
A police spokesperson said the arrests were made following the search of a vehicle in the city.
All three were taken to Strand Road police station for questioning.
The men have since been released on bail pending further police inquiries.
