DERRY’S James McClean picked up the international player of the year at the PFAI awards last night.
The Creggan born footballer is seen here with his wife very proud wife Erin, mum of their three children.
James had been Ireland’s talisman scoring vital goals in the World Cup qualifiers.
But James was left gutted when his team failed to reach the finals in Russia next summer after getting beat 5-1 in Dublin last week.
Hopefully this award will go some way towards easing his disappointment.
James is not only a fantastic footballer for his country and club West Brom but he is also a fantastically generous person.
Well done James!
