SINN Féin Councillor Sandra Duffy has congratulated Emma Doherty from Steelstown Brian Og’s GAC on winning the 2017 TG4 junior Players’ Player of the Year award.She was named All-Ireland Junior Player of the Year at the TG4 All Stars last night in Dublin.
Councillor Sandra Duffy said: “I would like to congratulate Emma on winning this award, it’s a great achievement
“.It will hopefully act as an inspiration for more girls in the city to get involved in Gaelic games.”
