THE PSNI are warning drivers to take extra care on the roads as snow starts to fall.
A spokesperson said: “Due to the weather conditions, with warnings issued for snow and icy conditions over the next couple of days, drivers are advised to slow down and take extra care on the roads.”
Temperatures are also expected to fall below freezing overnight and into Friday morning which could make untreated back roads extremely treacherous,
If the journey is not necessary the advice is to stay at home.
And if you do have to drive, use lower speed gears when driving in snow.
