POLICE say the security alert in Ederowen Park in Derry’s Galliagh area is continuing this morning.
Cordons in the area, however, have been reduced.
All residents evacuated overnight have been allowed to return to their homes.
Police continue to thank residents for their patience whilst the operation is ongoing.
