DERRY City and Strabane District Council has today issued an update on bin collections throughout the city and district. It follows recent adverse weather conditions.
• Black bins which were not collected in rural areas last Thursday due to icy weather conditions, will be collected tomorrow, Wednesday, January 3rd 2018.
• Food caddies which were not collected on Monday (New Year’s Day), will be completed tomorrow, Wednesday, January 3rd 2018. Please leave out early for collection.
• Blue bins which were not collected on Monday (New Year’s Day), will be completed on Saturday, January 6th2018.
• Council appreciates the public’s patience in dealing with the backlog during the Christmas and New Year period.
• All scheduled bin collection services resume as normal from today, Tuesday, January 2nd 2018.
