POLICE in the North West caught up with a motorist at the weekend who was driving dangerously with just three tyres on.
The PSNI say officers were alerted by a hawk-eyed member of the public.
PSNI Foyle say on its Facebook page: “Three wheels on my wagon and I’m still rollin’ along”!!
“Thankfully one of our Road Policing patrols caught up with this driver in the Derry City & Strabane area over the weekend,
“We had been alerted by an observant member of the public.
“The driver had continued for several miles despite knowing that the tyre had disintegrated.
“A Fixed Penalty Notice was subsequently issued.”
