POLICE say that the main A37 Coleraine-Limavady mountain road is treacherous in both directions due to snow/ice.
The PSNI add that there are long tail backs in the area as a result.
Police advice is to allow extra time for your journey.
If your journey is now essential, stay at home.
Motorists across Derry are also advised to take care on all roads this evening and into the early hours of Saturday morning because of a potential heavy frost
