Councillor Fleming said: “I have has been approached by residents and motorists who voiced their concerns about large pot holes on a number of rural roads including the Tamnaherin Road, Otterbank Road and the roundabout at the Broadbridge at Eglinton.
“With the current phase of bad weather a lot of damage has been caused to the surface of many roads.I fully understand the pressures that Transport NI are under with repairs but I would ask them where possible to prioritise the repair of pot holes on busy roads.
“I would call on members of the public to contact Transport NI to alert their attention to any roads that require repair.
“Many of these issues can be reported online at https://www.nidirect.gov.uk/se
“It is important to maintain our roadways to the highest standard possible in order to improve road safety/
“And I, along with my Sinn Féin party colleagues, will continue to lobby to ensure that we have a decent roads infrastructure.”
