THERE is no stopping Dylan Wade now after taking receipt of his new set of wheels.
The hand over marked a momentous day at St Joseph’s in Westway, Derry, as student Dylan Wade began his journey to competitive sport once again.
Dylan tried out his new race wheel chair for the first time in the school grounds.
He was put through his paces by James Divin who took time off work to show Dylan the ropes and share with him some valuable knowledge.
James is in training himself for the Omagh half marathon. Well done to him.
Teachers Mr Doherty and Mr McGinty presented Dylan’s mum Nina with a framed picture capturing the best moments of the St Josephs 5K.
Without the help and support of everyone on that evening and sponsors this would not have been possible. We would like to thank everyone again.
Dylan now begins his journey in training.
Watch this space!
Good luck to both Dylan and James.
