POLICE are investingating following an arson attack in the early hours of this morning.
The PSNI say that at approximately 12.30am this morning, Sunday, 4 February police received a report that a private bus was on fire in the Melmount Road area of Strabane.
Local fire crews were in attendance.
Police are treating this incident as arson.
Inspector William Calderwood said: “I would appeal to anyone who has witnessed this incident or anyone who has any information to contact Police at Strabane on the non-emergency number 101, quoting reference 65 04/02/18.
“Alternatively, information can also be provided to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 which is 100% anonymous and gives people the power to speak up and stop crime.”
