TODAY is the start of hate crime awareness week.
The PSNI in Foyle say their message is simple, Hate crime is unacceptable. To stop it, report it.
A police spokesperson said: “There is no place for it in our society.
“Hate crime can have a lasting and far reaching impact on the victim and wider community but unfortunately it is still under-reported.
“You can report a hate crime or incident on 101 for non-emergencies, 999 for emergencies or confidentially online on www.psni.police.uk.
