POLICE are looking to speak to any person who may have witnessed a serious assault in Derry in the early hours of this morning.
The brutal happened on Chapel Road at the junction with Margaret Street between 1 am and 1.30 am.
The PSNI in Foyle say the victim was assaulted by three males and as a result has suffered life changing injuries.
The victim was helped home by a Taxi Driver although the drivers details are unknown.
Police are keen to speak to the Taxi Driver who stopped and any other person who may have information in relation to this incident. Please phone 101 and quote ref: CC596 of 31/1/18
