The haul of drugs seized by police by Ballyarnett neighbourhood team over the weekend
POLICE continue to crack down on drug dealers poisoning children in Derry.
Over the weekend, PSNI Foyle say Ballyarnett Neighbourhood Team carried out a house search during a planned raid.
PSNI Foyle say on its Facebook page: “Over this weekend we seized a multitude of items including this Drug Dealing haul.
“Four males were arrested and three further houses searched as a result.
The investigation continues.
“Now I know there is always a debate about legalising drugs and deciding that is the politicians job.
“However given the nature of my job I see drugs destroying lives everyday.
“I have seen kids drop out of school to get stoned instead.
“I have seen 14 year olds being driven round estates and directed to burgle houses by dealers in order to get their Xanax Bars.
“I’ve seen ‘regulars’ go missing only to find they’ve died of an overdose.
“Regardless of your views, these dealers are simply profiting off the misery of others.”
