NOBEL Peace laureate John Hume has taken to Facebook to wish his wife Pat a very Happy Birthday.
On his Facebook page, the former SDLP leader posted: “Today is a very special birthday for a very special lady.
“Happy birthday, Pat Hume.
“Her contribution to the cause of peace and justice in Ireland may be understated, but we must ensure it never goes underestimated or underappreciated.
“She is a hero and an inspiration.
“Have a great day!”
